Minor Details Featured in Houzz.com Article
I'm thrilled to have had a project photo featured in a Houzz.com article today about using ceiling color to create an inspiring space. I always consider ceiling colors, treatments and designs as part of any room design. In my design studio, I've really loved my Sherwin Williams "Seal Skin" ceilings and can't imagine then any other way!
Dark colors tend to visually receed so it's a nifty trick if you need to hide some bad texture, flaws, conduit or other eye sores. In small spaces or rooms with odd or complicated ceiling angles, try painting the ceilng pan the same as the wall. It will "hide" an odd ceiling shape and make the room feel larger by editing what your eye sees as the rooms structure.
